Two shows every year.
At Christmas we run a showcase where every penny raised goes to local or children’s charities. Thousands of pounds have been raised by our incredible performers.
We also have a full-scale musical theatre production in the summer. Students have the experience of working with mics, lights and costume. Our shows are a huge highlight. Every student gains more confidence with every opportunity. Each class work on numbers for the shows from classic musicals, pop shows and brand new musicals from Broadway and the West End. Every student excels in our productions.
Those who want to take their passion further will be given advice and guidance leading to the chance to audition for professional work in the performing industry. JPA students have appeared in short films, adverts, television shows, and West End shows such as Matilda, Once, Billy Elliot, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots and Les Misérables.
Inspiring, fun and dedicated classes lead a lot of our students to the next step in their education. We have many former students at top performing arts colleges. The skills and love for the performing arts they have found with us, defines their work ethic and drive.
It is so rewarding for all our teachers to see students develop and tackle the next stage in their lives.
